Supply Chain Resilience Program Manager
About the Role
This position is part of the Global Supply Chain Resiliency Team at Aptiv, tasked with building industry-leading Supply Chain Resiliency capabilities to reduce the likelihood of supply disruptions and secure our global supply chain.
The Program Manager oversees the build-out of new capabilities and programs across all of Aptiv’s businesses, ensuring completeness of our Supply Chain Risk and Resiliency capabilities while supporting the global supply chain and customer.
Responsibilities
- Lead proactive risk analysis of the supply chain, using digital tools to identify high-risk suppliers, commodities, part numbers, or nodes within the supply network.
- Work closely with other functional areas, including IT, to develop digital models of the end-to-end supply chain to proactively identify vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate product flow paths and revenue impact of disruptions, particularly for single-sourced products or those with high concentration or reliance on single nodes or limited partners.
- Collaborate with multiple functions and business areas to implement mitigation plans that address identified risks and optimize the ability to maintain production and supply during unplanned events.
- Lead cross-functional workshops and drive execution of actions to address supply chain risk.
- Implement and lead a program that integrates supply chain risk assessment and resiliency into new program launches, enabling early-cycle changes.
- Develop proactive mitigation plans, including pre-, during-, and post-disruption actions.
- Provide management reporting on supply chain resiliency.
- Work closely with supply chain leaders across the business to embed resiliency into category strategies.
- Strengthen Aptiv’s Supply Chain Resiliency program capabilities and drive impact across the business.
- Expand the footprint of internal Resiliency capabilities, continuously improve existing tools and processes, and ensure flawless delivery of functional objectives within Supply Chain Visibility and Disruption Mitigation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or other relevant field.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering, IT, or finance.
- Experience leading supply chain projects in large, complex businesses.
- Able to successfully lead and influence others in a matrix-aligned, remotely-led, multi-country organization.
- Ability to manage a demanding workload, multiple and changing priorities, and constant deadline demands.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong desire to challenge the status quo and bring improvements to existing processes.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Lean/Six Sigma/Value Stream Mapping or Problem Solving experience is a plus, with a passion for process development and continuous improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship skills.

Key competencies include a strong data management skillset, a methodical and structured approach to problem-solving, and the ability to operate in a cross-functional matrix supply chain organization with fast execution and planning. Strong motivation, sense of urgency, high energy, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to focus on external and internal customer satisfaction. You must be able to cooperate, mediate, and align with diverse stakeholders, cultures, and attitudes while executing congruently across multiple workstreams and balancing competing priorities.
