Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up inventory goals and break them down to site, BU, and PN levels.
  • Coordinate cross-site, BU, and functional teams to develop plans for optimizing inventory turns and levels. Provide training to each site’s supply chain leads on inventory management.
  • Manage holiday events, natural disasters, strikes, and other disruptions to assess risks and mitigate impacts across the supply chain to ensure continuity.
  • Initiate new supply chain models and coordinate cross-site, BU, and functional teams for implementation.
  • Engage early with all sites, suppliers, and various hubbing models (such as Min/Max, Buy-Sell) to reduce each site’s inventory liability.
  • Minimize and dispose of excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory.
  • Review and standardize existing supply chain processes and policies, working with all sites to establish sustainable tracking mechanisms for adherence to standardized processes and policies.
  • Review, validate, and optimize key supply chain parameters such as Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), Minimum Purchase Quantity (MPQ), and Cycle Time to Receipt (CT2R).
  • Provide ongoing training to all site’s supply chain leads on various supply chain models and processes.
  • Transform current supply chain infrastructure and lead digitalization initiatives.
  • Review, root cause, and coordinate with SAP IT, B2B, customer IT to resolve various Supply Chain Data (SCD) data compliance, errors, and track data governance. Provide ongoing training and SME support to all site supply chain leads.
  • Review, root cause, and coordinate with B2B IT, 3PL IT, and supplier IT on standard Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) signal compliance, errors, and track data governance. Provide ongoing training and SME support to all site supply chain leads on hubbing signal issues, B2B, and EDI issues.
  • Coordinate and lead all efforts in new Supply Chain Data (SCD) and B2B data changes and initiatives.
  • Manage and negotiate supplier contracts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • SAP/Oracle knowledge preferred.
    • Strong statistical skills.
    • Second language proficiency: Mandarin and/or Spanish preferred.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain required, Master’s degree preferred.
    • Prior experience with ERP system deployment and B2B deployment preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment required.
    • Contract manufacturing experience (JDM/ODM) preferred.
    • Bilingual Chinese required.
