Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector invites you to bring your pioneering spirit to our inclusive team to join our Space Superiority Division (SSD) Global Supply Chain Proposal Team. As Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist, you’ll be crucial to missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This is a hybrid position that can be located in one of the following sites: Dulles, VA or Gilbert, AZ. The standard work schedule is a 9/80, which allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, reviews, and executes Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with strategic supply partners.
• Authors and issues Requests for Information (RFIs) and/or Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to obtain supplier pricing and technical data.
• Receives and reviews Consolidated Bill of Materials (CBOMs) for accuracy and completeness.
• Prioritizes high-dollar, critical long-lead item, and/or unpriced line items for RFIs/RFQs.
• Evaluates supplier bids and establishes price reasonableness to support the prime proposal's cost volume.
• Collaborates with Capture, Proposal, Contracts, Engineering, and Material Estimating teams to align supplier capabilities with overall win themes.
• Ensures adherence to frameworks like FAR/DFARS, public law requirements, export control requirements such as ITAR/EAR, as well as company (and business) policies and procedures.

Qualifications

The desirable candidate is a strong leader with demonstrated procurement and supply chain management skills. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, purchasing, subcontracts, proposals, or contracts. Or, in lieu of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience in supply chain, purchasing, subcontracts, proposals, or contracts.

Preferred qualifications include FAR/DFAR experience, experience working with Bill of Materials (BOMs) with hundreds/thousands of line items, experience working on bid and proposals, and Costpoint/SAP knowledge.

Pay

The primary level salary range is $73,900.00 - $128,400.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
