Supply Chain Planning Specialist
This position is located full-time in Salt Lake City, Utah. Travel is required, up to 10% of the time. No relocation assistance is available. U.S. citizenship is required.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Supply Chain Planning Specialist with experience in supply chain management and/or related fields (including business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, and manufacturing).
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the program team to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of the program.
- Handle financial responsibilities including EAC’s, material sales, material sales forecasting, and cost account management (CAM) support.
- Present to internal and external decision-makers and represent Northrop Grumman Global Supply Chain in Program Management Reviews, organization leadership briefings, customer briefings, and supplier engagement.
- Plan and coordinate program requirements.
- Monitor and establish material inventory.
- Create and document supply and demand strategies in formal plans to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Solve complex supply chain problems using established precedents and policies.
- Identify, document, and mitigate/realize Risks and Opportunities.
- Evaluate suppliers and note key performance indicators.
- Prioritize efforts and adjust to quickly changing program needs and objectives.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting, ensuring projects are completed within the approved budget.
- Represent GSC as a prime contact on program contracts or projects.
- Lead others through dynamic and fluid environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years (0+ years with Masters) of supply chain, program management, and/or business management experience. We will consider 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business management.
- Experience with Earned Value Management and Forecasting.
- General understanding of Government procurement processes and regulations; FAR/DFAR.
- Project/Program Management or Supply Chain Planning experience working on Aerospace and Defense programs.
- Current DoD Secret or higher security clearance.
- Experience supporting moderately complex proposal efforts.
- Basis of Estimate, Price Reasonableness, Commercial Item Determination expertise.
- Advanced MS Excel capability including pivot tables, macros, and VBA scripting.

Pay
Primary level salary range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; actual offers consider factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
