About the role
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is hiring a Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist/Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join the GSC Demand Planning organization. This position will be located onsite in Dayton, OH. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Responsibilities
- Long term capacity and resource planning
- Aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements
- Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools
- Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments
- Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling
- Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements
- Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain Schedules through strategic planning and execution
- Provide early visibility into purchase requisition requirements release constraints and material excess review
- Integrate metrics requirements for the Demand Planning Team
- Communicate program schedule deviations and ensure all impacts are coordinated with internal/external customers prior to implementation and execution
- Work on a team of individuals in a dynamic, fast-paced Program environment with responsibilities including rapid requirements execution, scrap/spare/replacement planning and serve as a GSC liaison to the Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs
Basic Qualifications — Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 1)
- A Bachelor's degree; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 4 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
- MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Must have previous experience in Supply Chain
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
Basic Qualifications — Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 2)
- A Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; A Master's degree with 0 years of experience supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 6 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
- MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Must have previous experience in Supply Chain
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Bills of Materials
- Experience in SAP
- Experience with Advanced Planning and Material Requirements Planning
Pay
- Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 1): $57,300.00 - $85,900.00
- Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 2): $69,000.00 - $103,400.00
Schedule
Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time. This position is located onsite in Dayton, OH.
