Supply Chain Planning Specialist

About the role

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is hiring a Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist/Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join the GSC Demand Planning organization. This position will be located onsite in Dayton, OH. Responsibilities

• Long term capacity and resource planning
• Aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements
• Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools
• Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments
• Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling
• Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements
• Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain Schedules through strategic planning and execution
• Provide early visibility into purchase requisition requirements release constraints and material excess review
• Integrate metrics requirements for the Demand Planning Team
• Communicate program schedule deviations and ensure all impacts are coordinated with internal/external customers prior to implementation and execution
• Work on a team of individuals in a dynamic, fast-paced Program environment with responsibilities including rapid requirements execution, scrap/spare/replacement planning and serve as a GSC liaison to the Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs

Basic Qualifications — Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 1)

• A Bachelor's degree; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 4 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
• MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Must have previous experience in Supply Chain
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Basic Qualifications — Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 2)

• A Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; A Master's degree with 0 years of experience supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 6 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
• MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Must have previous experience in Supply Chain
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Bills of Materials
• Experience in SAP
• Experience with Advanced Planning and Material Requirements Planning

Pay

• Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 1): $57,300.00 - $85,900.00
• Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 2): $69,000.00 - $103,400.00

Schedule

Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time. This position is located onsite in Dayton, OH.
