Supply Chain Planning Specialist
About the role
with paragraphs. - Responsibilities: The list under "Roles And Responsibilities" includes many bullet-like sentences. We'll turn each into- .
- Requirements: Basic Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications. Could be combined under "Requirements" or separate "Qualifications". We'll use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can list all qualifications as items. Could also separate Basic and Preferred but not required. We'll include both.
- Skills: Could extract from qualifications: Experience with MS Office Suite, SAP, MRP/ERP, financial systems, FAR, DFAR, ITAR, Earned Value Management, etc. But we already have them in qualifications; we could still create Skills section if there is specific skill content. The posting includes "Experience with MS Office Suite", "Experience in the use of SAP", "Current Special Program Access (PAR)", "Earned Value Management, Return to Green, Forecasting and Variance Analysis experience", "Experience with MRP/ERP systems, financial systems, FAR, DFAR and ITAR". Those are skills. We could put them under Skills.
- Benefits: The posting mentions: "Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business." Also mentions overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, annual bonuses, long term incentives for VP/Director. So we have benefits content.
- Pay: Primary Level Salary Range: $72,400.00 - $108,600.00. Also note about base salary factors, overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, annual bonuses, long term incentives. So we have pay info.
- Schedule: Not explicitly mentioned. There's travel: Yes, 10% of the Time. That's travel, not schedule. No schedule info like full-time, shift, etc. So we should not create Schedule section because no real specific content.
- Also we have relocation assistance: No relocation assistance available. Clearance required: Secret. Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time. This could be placed maybe under a "Details" section but not required headings. Could fold into a short
under About the role or maybe a separate section like "Key Details". But spec says only use headings for those specific sections; we can include other info in paragraphs without headings. So we can include a paragraph after About the role that mentions clearance, travel, relocation. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, application period, etc. Remove those. We must not invent or summarize away detail. Must preserve all substantive information. Thus we need to include: - About the role: description paragraph(s) covering company intro and role location, business unit, role functions. - Responsibilities: list of responsibilities. - Requirements: list of basic and preferred qualifications. - Skills: maybe list of specific skills (MS Office, SAP, MRP/ERP, financial systems, FAR, DFAR, ITAR, Earned Value Management, etc). But note that some of these are already in qualifications; we might duplicate if we list both. To avoid duplication, we could either not create Skills section and put those under Requirements. The spec says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So maybe we combine qualifications and skills into Requirements. But we also have Benefits and Pay sections. Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Benefits, Pay. We must not include Schedule. Now we need to ensure we preserve all substantive info: include location (onsite in Baltimore, MD), business unit (Advanced Mission Capabilities Business Unit within Mission Systems Sector supporting Advanced Systems and Restricted/Emerging Operating Units), role functions (material/supplier focused Program Manager, manage supply chain activities from development to production, track/forecast material and labor budgets, regular forecasting using Earned Value Management, work with cross-functional teams, etc). Also include travel 10%, clearance Secret, no relocation assistance, US citizenship required. Include responsibilities list exactly as given (but we can rephrase? Must preserve all substantive information; we can keep the sentences as is, maybe split into items). We'll copy each sentence after "Roles And Responsibilities". Let's extract them: - Ensures accurate and consistent Material Finance and forecasts on program and NCTA material - Responsible for working with other planners, engineers, and program representatives to forecast material costs. - Responsible for creating a material baseline and working with Business Management to meet monthly Earned Value requirements, variance reporting, and root cause and corrective actions. - Responsible for providing monthly Current Material Estimates at completions (CME's) - Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products - Participates in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning - Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools - Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements - Identify and manage program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements. - Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs - Communicates with suppliers for lead times and delivery times. Actively works and communicates to resolve issues and identifies critical path mitigation plans. - #MPR (maybe a tag, ignore? It's likely a hashtag for internal; we can drop as it's not substantive? Might be considered metadata; but it's not boilerplate; but it's a tag. Probably safe to drop as it's not meaningful content. We'll omit.) Now Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of supply chain and/or business management (will consider 4+ additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree) or a Master’s Degree and 0+ years of supply chain and/or business management - Experience with MS Office Suite - Must be a U.S. Citizen - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications: - Financial Background/Cost Account Manager (CAM) Certification - Experience in the use of SAP - Current Special Program Access (PAR) - Earned Value Management, Return to Green, Forecasting and Variance Analysis experience - Experience with MRP/ERP systems, financial systems, FAR, DFAR and ITAR - Active Secret Security Clearance Also note Primary Level Salary Range: $72,400.00 - $108,600.00 Additional pay info: The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Benefits: In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. Also mention: The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date. However, this timeline may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates. This is boilerplate? It's about application period; spec says remove application instructions. This is not exactly instructions but timeline; maybe consider as metadata; we can drop as it's not substantive about job. We'll drop. Also EEO statements drop. Now we need to output HTML fragment only. Structure:
