Supply Chain Planning Manager

About the role

This is an in-person position based on-site in Lawrenceville, with responsibility for supply and demand planning, S&OP, forecasting, inventory optimisation and wider supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
• Run demand, supply and executive reconciliation reviews
• Develop and maintain demand and supply plans across the product portfolio
• Translate sales forecasts into production, purchasing and inventory requirements
• Partner with Sales and Finance to align forecasts with commercial and financial plans
• Analyse historical sales, seasonality and market trends to improve forecast accuracy
• Monitor inventory and recommend appropriate replenishment and safety-stock levels
• Identify potential shortages, excess inventory and supply-demand imbalances
• Develop practical mitigation plans for supply chain risks
• Support planning for new products, promotions and product phase-outs
• Develop and monitor KPIs including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, on-time delivery and fill rate
• Build dashboards and recurring reports for senior leadership
• Analyse performance gaps and identify opportunities for improvement
• Present supply chain performance and recommendations to leadership
• Improve and standardise planning processes across the business
• Lead improvements and upgrades to supply chain planning systems
• Maintain planning-system configuration and data accuracy
• Identify opportunities to automate manual planning and reporting processes
• Partner with Procurement on purchasing and replenishment plans
• Work closely with Manufacturing around production schedules and capacity
• Support Finance with inventory and volume inputs for budgeting and forecasting
• Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to Buyers and Supply Chain Planning Analysts

Requirements

You'll ideally have:

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, supply planning or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
• Experience developing demand forecasts and translating them into supply and inventory plans
• A strong understanding of inventory management, replenishment and safety-stock planning
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel and data-analysis capabilities
• Experience using ERP, demand-planning, forecasting or S&OP systems
• Experience implementing, upgrading or administering supply chain planning tools
• Confidence working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales and Finance
• Experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
• Strong project and process-management skills

Qualifications

The ability to combine leadership responsibilities with hands-on planning and analysis

A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred.

APICS CPIM or CSCP certification would also be beneficial but isn't required.

Skills

Power BI or similar reporting tools would be beneficial but isn't essential.
