Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experienceLocation: Lawrenceville, GeorgiaWorking arrangement: On-siteFull-time | PermanentReports to: CFO About the opportunityVia is partnering with an established product and manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager for its team in Lawrenceville, GA.This is an in-person position based on-site in Lawrenceville, with responsibility for supply and demand planning, S&OP, forecasting, inventory optimisation and wider supply chain performance.You'll work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales and Finance to translate demand forecasts into effective production, purchasing and inventory plans.This is a hands-on role with significant ownership. Alongside leading planning activity, you'll help improve forecasting accuracy, develop supply chain KPIs and dashboards, and drive improvements to the systems and processes used across the business.You'll also provide oversight to a small team of Buyers and Supply Chain Planning Analysts while remaining closely involved in day-to-day planning. What you'll be doingOwn and lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processRun demand, supply and executive reconciliation reviewsDevelop and maintain demand and supply plans across the product portfolioTranslate sales forecasts into production, purchasing and inventory requirementsPartner with Sales and Finance to align forecasts with commercial and financial plansAnalyse historical sales, seasonality and market trends to improve forecast accuracyMonitor inventory and recommend appropriate replenishment and safety-stock levelsIdentify potential shortages, excess inventory and supply-demand imbalancesDevelop practical mitigation plans for supply chain risksSupport planning for new products, promotions and product phase-outsDevelop and monitor KPIs including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, on-time delivery and fill rateBuild dashboards and recurring reports for senior leadershipAnalyse performance gaps and identify opportunities for improvementPresent supply chain performance and recommendations to leadershipImprove and standardise planning processes across the businessLead improvements and upgrades to supply chain planning systemsMaintain planning-system configuration and data accuracyIdentify opportunities to automate manual planning and reporting processesPartner with Procurement on purchasing and replenishment plansWork closely with Manufacturing around production schedules and capacitySupport Finance with inventory and volume inputs for budgeting and forecastingProvide day-to-day guidance and oversight to Buyers and Supply Chain Planning Analysts What we're looking forYou'll ideally have:8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, supply planning or a related fieldStrong hands-on experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)Experience developing demand forecasts and translating them into supply and inventory plansStrong understanding of inventory management, replenishment and safety-stock planningExperience developing and tracking supply chain KPIsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel and data-analysis capabilitiesExperience using ERP, demand-planning, forecasting or S&OP systemsExperience implementing, upgrading or administering supply chain planning toolsConfidence working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales and FinanceExperience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadershipStrong project and process-management skillsThe ability to combine leadership responsibilities with hands-on planning and analysisAbility to work in person at the Lawrenceville, GA location Experience within apparel, textiles, consumer products or manufacturing would be particularly valuable, although experienced supply chain planning professionals from other product-led industries are encouraged to apply. Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools would be beneficial but isn't essential.A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification would also be beneficial but isn't required.
