About the role
The Supply Chain Planning Analyst II, Inventory Planning position at Niagara is dedicated to supporting customer demand through strategic inventory and planning models. This role requires a self-starter with strong strategy development and implementation skills, capable of interfacing with various departments to optimize operations.
Responsibilities
- Create, review, and revise inventory policies/plans to support customer needs.
- Develop and implement different inventory models on Finish Goods and Raw materials to optimize product flow.
- Translate and navigate projected forecasts (S&OP), sales demand, and manufacturing builds into inventory policies.
- Maintain inventory policies to meet changing customer needs and ensure alignment with finished goods and raw material requirements.
- Review, manage, and lead discussions about SKU and category inventory performance.
- Recommend production frequencies and Lot sizes (EoQ) and solutions to meet the demand plan.
- Work with cross-functional partners to continuously improve the end-to-end inventory platform.
- Utilize system reports and experience to propose improvements to inventory models and ways of working.
- Conduct continuous ad-hoc analysis for core, beverage, and specialty planning to drive initiatives.
- Aid in regional projects with Planning Managers and other functions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of planning and inventory experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Python, Power BI, or similar coding/platform experience (preferred).
- Experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment (minimum of 2 years).
- Experience managing people/projects (minimum of 2 years).
- Travel: 10% of the time, on average.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field (minimum).
- Master's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
