About the Role

Responsible for supporting the creation and optimization of a demand plan for devices and related materials across the enterprise. This includes gathering data and inputs to the plan, developing forecasts, and daily monitoring of key performance indicators to ensure target requirements are met. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance, maintain, and monitor demand forecasts, identifying key risks to the leadership team.
  • Monitor inventory levels and requirements across the supply chain network, identifying potential service level issues before they become customer impacting.
  • Work extensively with system data to form trends and patterns and troubleshoot with management to identify process and control improvements.
  • Adhere to agreed master data management (MDM) policies to ensure a common understanding, consistency, accuracy, and control in the ongoing maintenance and application use of information.
  • Develop reports to analyze and interpret key performance indicators to identify trends and areas of focus; provide in-depth analysis of data to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the Business Intelligence and Analytics technical team in the development of reports, dashboards, interfaces, and extensions for current planning applications.
  • Manage small performance improvement projects to improve supply chain planning KPIs.
  • Effectively communicate all project timelines, deliverables, and risks associated with the stand-up and deployment of the operation to the supply chain leadership team.
  • Liaise internally with key stakeholders to help execute the NPI (New Product Introduction) process.
  • Support the development of repeatable, and thus scalable, plans and processes in order to speed time to market and improve operational efficiency.
  • Effectively manage competing priorities through planned and ad-hoc requests.
  • Mentor more junior analysts to help facilitate the completion of accurate work.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred, but Comcast may consider applicants with a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience).
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
