Supply Chain & Parts Manager
About the role
The Supply Chain & Parts Manager owns the hands-on execution of parts inventory and supply chain functions across NETC Fleet Services shop locations. This role is responsible for physical cycle counts, sourcing hard-to-find and obsolete parts, organizing and standardizing parts storage, disposing of obsolete inventory, and managing vendor and procurement relationships that keep shop operations supplied. This is a field-based role requiring regular presence in shop parts rooms across multiple locations, not a desk-bound administrative position.

- Source hard-to-find, backordered, and obsolete parts, using vendor networks, supplier relationships, and industry resources
- Design, implement, and maintain standardized parts storage and organization systems (bin locations, labeling, staging) at each shop location
- Identify obsolete and slow-moving inventory across all locations and manage its disposition (return, liquidation, or write-off) in coordination with finance
- Negotiate and manage vendor and supplier relationships for parts, equipment, and shop supplies to control cost and ensure supply reliability
- Monitor and manage purchasing activity to standardize procurement practices across NETC's multiple locations
- Anticipate parts and supply needs by location based on work mix, reducing shop downtime caused by stockouts
- Partner with shop service leadership on receiving, staging, and day-to-day parts availability
- Travel regularly between NETC shop locations to perform counts, audits, and on-site support
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Demonstrated experience with physical inventory management, including cycle counts and obsolescence control. Strong organizational skills, with experience designing or improving physical storage/inventory systems. Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and lift parts and materials (up to 75 lbs) in shop and parts-room environments. Work is performed in a combination of shop floor, parts room, and office settings across multiple locations. Exposure to typical automotive/fleet shop conditions (noise, machinery, varying temperatures) when on-site. Regular travel by motor vehicle between NETC Fleet Services shop locations required.
