About the role
This is a ground-floor opportunity that provides extraordinary exposure to hospital supply chain operations. Supply Chain is integral to hospital functioning, seeking sharp, reliable, independent problem solvers with a strong desire to learn. We will train you to gain solid skills in centralized supply and material support operations.
Responsibilities
- Inventory management
- Receiving, storing, picking, and restocking of hospital supplies
- Expensing and billing of supplies and equipment
- Data processing and inventory tracking
- Cycle counting
- Proper hospital disinfection methods
- Portable medical equipment management and distribution
- Filling automated supply distribution cabinets
- Restocking supply areas
- Exchanging linen carts
- Completing phone and walk-in requests
- Hauling supplies, equipment, and packing materials
Must enjoy being physically active; this job involves constant movement throughout the day.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent
- CA Driver’s License (if applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience in a hospital supply chain management department
- Three years of experience in a non-hospital supply chain management environment
Pay
The current salary range for this position is $23.00 to $30.27 per hour. Compensation decisions consider experience, education, licensure, unique skillsets, organizational need, and internal equity.
