About the role
The Supply Chain Operations Manager 3 position is located onsite in Roy, UT. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the management, strategy, integration, planning, and execution of Global Supply Chain (GSC) operations
- Inclusive of GSC ERP1 Expertise and Performance Metrics/Tools, Indirect Project Management, GSC Business Management/Forecasting, Executive support to the division GSC Director, and Liaison to sector on GSC digital transformation initiatives
- Acts as a focal point for the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Division team and Global Supply Chain Team Functions
- Cross-functionally coordinates to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and develops and executes mitigation or opportunity plans for any organizational or programmatic risks and opportunities related to Division supply chain team responsibilities
- Supports Division Staffing for all SDS programs
- Conducts periodic performance evaluations, including mid-year and annual reviews for all Direct Reports
- Provides technical leadership and guidance to staff
- Ensures professional development and mentoring of direct reports
- Manages indirect and capital project needs
- Facilitates and implements supply chain tools, metrics, reporting, and processes, including data analytic resources (via tools) and supports digital transformation initiatives
- Develops requirements for data visualizations, analyses, decision support systems/databases and drives use of data to support key business decisions
- Communicates key project status information to stakeholders and customers and incorporates feedback into data products based on these interactions
- Oversees up GSC Business Management organization in support of SDS programs and facilitates financial acumen comprehension across Global Supply Chain functional teams (buyers, planners, GSC program managers, etc)
- Deals effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and manages multiple tasks while supporting the division senior GSC Director
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience; 6 years with a Masters in operations, supply chain, business, or program management
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain management techniques, practices, processes, tools, and planning
- Strong business acumen to support analysis of supplier impacts on business unit financials for both externally and internally funded scope
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years in a formal lead/management position
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to achieve projects cost, performance, and schedule requirements
- Digital transformation - use of data analytics tools and techniques to drive supply chain strategies and performance
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience working on development, production and/or sustainment programs/projects
- SAP experience
