About the role
Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Coordinator (Level 3 or 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in El Segundo, CA. It is in-office, unable to accommodate a telecommute/hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Cook up with Manufacturing to help prioritize Work-in-Process (WIP) to make sure contract schedule dates are met.
- With a grasp of production necessities, connect with different shop support groups (Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, MRB, Industrial Engineering, Shipping, Distribution, etc.) to kick off actions that eliminate any roadblocks to production.
- Perform necessary SAP and MES system transactions to release work orders for Manufacturing, get parts into inventory, close out manufacturing work orders, and pass parts up to subsequent higher assemblies.
- Spot, dig into, and settle inventory discrepancies as they are brought to the attention of the team.
- Figure out possible and actual shortages and can take action to rectify these deficiencies.
- Get and maintain End-of-Change Documents (ECDs) from Manufacturing based on the importance of the parts.
- Estimate and log production rates and time expenditures and may be needed to establish sequence and lead times of each operation to meet shipping dates.
- Get and maintain Power Industrial Trucks (i.e., Forklift, Reach lift, Electric Cart, etc.)
- Identify, find, and move large tools to support Manufacturing
- Loading and unloading of large tools from Autoclave/stage for Manufacturing
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience for Level 3
- High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience for Level 4
- Ability to work in MS 365, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one
- Ability to obtain and maintain equipment licensing including but not limited to electric carts, forklift, reach lift
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret Clearance and a Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (after starting)
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications (Level 3): High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
- Basic Qualifications (Level 4): High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in SAP, Experience working in a manufacturing setting, Experience moving large items on Forklift, Experience working in a warehouse environment, Active DOD Secret level clearance, Excellent communication skills dealing with customers and suppliers
Skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to obtain and maintain equipment licensing including but not limited to electric carts, forklift, reach lift

Pay
- Primary Level Salary Range: $24.71 - $41.15
- Secondary Level Salary Range: $29.38 - $48.94
Schedule
- This position may be filled as a Level 3 or Level 4 based on the qualifications outlined below. This will be supporting B shift (Weekday NIGHTS, 5-40 or 9-80 schedule).
