About the role
Support the seamless delivery of products and supplies to new Dutch Bros Coffee shops, ensuring stock levels align with opening schedules and operational needs. This role coordinates product distribution, manages partner performance, and fosters cross-functional collaboration to enable smooth shop openings.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate timely deliveries by working closely with distribution partners and internal teams to define delivery timelines, ensuring products and supplies arrive on time and in full for each new shop opening.
- Monitor inventory and replenishment by tracking inventory levels and proactively addressing stock outs or delays during critical phases leading up to and following the shop opening.
- Collaborate with vendors to assess storage requirements and develop plans for any special storage needs for new shops.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to product delivery, inventory, and partner performance to ensure timely and accurate support for new shop openings.
- Continuously analyze current processes and suggest improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of new shop openings from a supply chain perspective.
- Track distributor performance and assist in developing and managing scorecards to monitor distributor performance, ensuring timely and accurate product deliveries.
- Foster positive relationships with distribution partners, providing feedback on performance and addressing service gaps to meet operational goals.
- Act as the key liaison between the supply chain team, coaches, shop operators/franchisees, and other internal departments to ensure product and supply timelines align with shop opening dates.
- Work closely with systems, field operations, and coaching teams to analyze ongoing ordering habits, ensuring accuracy in shop orders and identifying areas for process improvement.
- Assess when changes are necessary for a shop’s delivery frequency or schedule and coordinate with relevant teams to adjust accordingly.
- Collaborate with Field Standards to ensure all ordering and distribution-related training materials and tools are up to date.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree, two years of administrative experience, or two years of Dutch Bros leadership experience (assistant manager or higher), required.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and email communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, strong interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- A positive attitude and demonstrated dependability.
- A high degree of personal organization and self-management.
- Comfortable working within tight deadlines and able to produce work within short timeframes where demands may change at short notice.
- Excellent social skills; able to operate with diplomacy, tact, and empathy.
Location
This role is based in Tempe, AZ, and requires in-office presence 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday); Fridays are optional remote work days.
Physical Requirements
- In-Office Environment: Must be able to work in a busy, crowded, and loud office with frequent distractions and interruptions. Ability to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu meetings.
- Office Conditions: Adaptability to typical office conditions, including air conditioning, heating, artificial lighting, and varying noise levels.
- Mobility: Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for extended periods. Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds.
- Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or assistive devices is acceptable.
- Reading and Writing Proficiency: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions.
- Vision Requirements: Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using visual tools. Use of corrective lenses is expected if needed.
- Technology Proficiency: Must be proficient in operating computers and office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software.
- Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and in-office tools.
Pay
Compensation is dependent on experience.
