Supply Chain Manager / SCM
This role must report on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM at our Camarillo, CA facility. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates currently residing in the USA.
About the role
This position within Eaton's growing Aerospace Interconnect division is responsible for managing key Supply Chain functions such as materials planning, scheduling, ordering, direct and indirect material purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and receiving.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct supply chain personnel in planning, scheduling, procurement, and inventory control to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels.
- Own the Production Plan derived from the S&OP monthly process and sales forecast.
- Establish standard work and attain SCM KPIs with the team.
- Work with corporate commodity teams on supplier performance and cost-out programs.
- Serve as a member of the plant’s senior management team, providing leadership and support for local, division, and corporate initiatives.
- Analyze data, including enterprise requirements planning information, and prepare consolidated managerial reports to facilitate and recommend actions for optimal Supply Chain execution.
- Ensure correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines are utilized in order execution systems (SAP) for proper order generation and inventory balances.
- Manage material cost and schedule impact of proposed engineering changes and take necessary action for successful implementation.
- Meet or exceed key metrics: days on hand, gross inventory, plant and supplier on-time delivery, days payable outstanding, cost savings, cycle count accuracy, supplier invoice on-hold metrics, and profit plan/budget forecasts.
- Manage inventory levels to meet established inventory and Day-on-Hand targets.
- Ensure the accuracy of physical inventory to support timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining beneficial inventory levels.
- Foster an environment that promotes Eaton’s vision and encourages continuous improvement aligned with supply chain functional requirements (e.g., Materials Management Assessment).
- Support SCM strategic initiatives and lead related functional SCM/OpA assessments.
- Develop SCM organizational capabilities and bench strength through functional excellence, training, and coaching.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 4 years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of related professional and supervisory/managerial experience.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Previous Aerospace or Automotive Manufacturing experience.
- CPIM or C.P.M. certification.
- Background and knowledge in SAP.
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Full knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
- Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, shipping/receiving.
- Thorough knowledge of purchasing techniques and practices, including procedures associated with sourcing internationally.

Pay
The expected annual salary range for this role is $129,000 – $180,000. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.
