What You'll Do
- Own RFI’s & RFQ’s - ensuring all commercial and technical terms are agreed and documented
- Ensure contracts (NDA, multiparty NDAs, General Terms, etc.) are drafted, negotiated, and executed well with key supplier partners
- Drive continual cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives through price negotiations
- Cover all areas of commodity management including business plans, market intelligence, technology roadmaps, cost modeling, and sourcing strategies
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution, supplier scorecards, and periodic business reviews
- Participate in DFM reviews, change control meetings, and other technical discussions with Engineering and SIE partners and drive decisions from a cost and supply perspective
- Be able to understand technical drawings, specifications and have a fundamental knowledge of a multitude of manufacturing processes (stamping, plating, casting, extrusions, machining, overmolding, etc.)
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in Component or Product Design or Manufacturing and/or 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Business Development, Strategic Deal Making and Negotiation
- Strong understanding of costing concepts, i.e., cost reduction strategies, cost modeling etc.
- Experience in supplier evaluation/selection and strong contract negotiation skills
- Experience building relationships with engineering, product management, and other cross-functional partners and drive discussions around optimization of technical specifications, and features vs. value trade-offs

Pay
Expected Compensation $108,000 - $198,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
