Supply Chain Manager, Power Semiconductor Components
About the role
We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager for wide band-gap Power Semiconductor Components to drive innovation and efficiency in our vehicle, energy, and robotics products. This role involves managing a global supply base, developing supplier relationships, and driving cost reduction initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes to ensure all commercial and technical terms are agreed upon and documented.
- Manage contracts such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Multiparty NDAs, General Terms, Statements of Work, and related contractual activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with Original Semiconductor Equipment Association (OSAT) and Integrated Device Manufacturer (IDM) partners, covering sample builds, tooling, commercial terms, capacity planning, and mass production ramp-ups.
- Implement continuous cost reduction and avoidance strategies through effective price negotiations.
- Oversee all aspects of commodity management, including business plans, market intelligence, technology roadmaps, cost modeling, and sourcing strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, including dispute resolution, supplier scorecards, periodic business reviews, and executive engagement.
- Participate in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews, change control meetings, and other technical discussions with Engineering and Systems Integration Engineering (SIE) partners, focusing on cost and supply considerations.
Requirements
A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience is required, along with 5+ years of experience in Electrical System Design and Architecture, Silicon Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field. Strong communication skills, ability to navigate ambiguity, and a deep understanding of costing concepts are essential.

- Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate through ambiguities and difficult obstacles through data collection, advanced planning, evaluation of alternatives, open-mindedness, and superior communications.
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Business Development, Strategic Deal Making and Negotiation.
- Deep understanding of electrical systems and architectures, and a strong desire to stay ahead in power efficiency and reliability.
- Strong understanding of costing concepts, including cost reduction strategies, cost modeling, and supplier evaluation/selection.
- Experience in contract negotiation and building relationships with cross-functional partners.

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is $132,000 - $198,000 annually, with details of the benefits package provided upon employment.
