About the role
We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join the North American Network S&OP Team. NA Network S&OP plays a crucial role in shaping and optimizing Amazon's operations, concentrating on planning the flow of inventory within the supply chain network.
Responsibilities
- Lead the S&OP process for the North American network, driving alignment with input providers and stakeholders
- Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and supply capacity to identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks
- Utilize data and analytics to optimize the distribution network, reduce inventory costs, and improve service levels
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement process improvements and new supply chain initiatives
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on supply chain strategy and resource allocation
About the team
The NA Network Planning S&OP team has an unambiguous responsibility to ensure that published S&OP plans reflect the most likely inbound and outbound demand for our network. We partner with teams in SCOT, FBA, and NACF to generate the weekly S&OP plan, the basis of labor planning and steering decisions for ASIN movement through Amazon's fulfillment network.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of program or project management experience, 1+ years of supply chain experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology, Experience in MS Access and SQL, Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents
