Supply Chain Manager II, SSD-Direct, OE
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the Sub-Same Day (SSD-Direct) Labor Planning delivery team, helping to provide faster-than-same-day delivery across North America. This role requires a strong delivery record, proven project management experience, and the ability to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional, and technology-driven projects within Amazon Supply Chain.
About the role
You will scope and create project plans, develop processes, coordinate execution, resolve conflicts, and communicate status, risks, and changes to senior management. Cross-team coordination, project management, and executive presentation skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Create, communicate, and manage labor plans to optimize for safety, cost, and quality
- Plan and execute the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside your organization to deliver
- Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data, and drive improvements quantified with metrics
- Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, and leadership decisions
- Partner with customers, internal/external teams, and engineering teams to prioritize projects
- Oversee gaps between teams, processes, and systems, reducing exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., unclear requirements, ineffective collaboration, long-term impacts from third-party solutions, security risks, insufficient stakeholder review)
- Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks
- Work with program managers, business leaders, and the executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
- Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility into milestones and performance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups) and SQL experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- 3+ years of driving process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management across varied organizational levels
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Pay
- USA, NY, New York: $94,300.00 – $141,500.00 USD annually
- USA, TN, Nashville: $77,200.00 – $115,800.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Bellevue: $85,800.00 – $128,600.00 USD annually
Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
