Supply Chain Manager I , Network Design, Planning & Engineering

About the role

The Network Design Planning & Engineering team at Amazon is responsible for optimizing the movement of packages through the company's transportation network. This role involves building network design recommendations and maintaining interactive AI dashboards to track the performance of the transportation network.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teammates across product, science, and engineering to understand business needs and design data solutions to address them.
• Build detailed network design recommendations and maintain interactive AI dashboards/visualizations that track network performance.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses into operational performance, identify root causes of issues, and recommend improvements backed by data.
• Proactively improve existing reports and dashboards for faster, more accurate, and user-friendly access.
• Analyze historical trends and lessons learned to surface insights that support planning and forecasting decisions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of program or project management experience
• 1+ years of supply chain experience
• Intermediate-level knowledge of Excel (pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Qualifications

• Experience in requirement gathering and writing clear, detailed requirement documents
• Experience in supply chain
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques
