The Role
The Supply Chain Manager will own supplier relationships, cost management, and inventory control to ensure the timely procurement of high-quality materials and services. This role is both strategic and hands-on—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to build and optimize systems that directly impact product quality and business performance.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Purchasing & Cost Control
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies to improve cost efficiency, product quality, and supplier performance
- Maintain budgets, analyze spending trends, and identify opportunities for cost savings and value optimization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and overseas suppliers and manufacturers
- Stay ahead of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier capabilities
- Apply lean methodologies to streamline procurement processes and improve operational efficiency
- Supply Chain Operations & Analytics
- Implement dashboards and KPIs to track performance and drive accountability
- Establish metrics and reporting systems to support data-driven decision-making
- Oversee inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize disruptions
- Create clear action plans tied to supply chain and procurement goals
- Drive continuous improvement across processes and systems
- Translate high-level company objectives into actionable sourcing and procurement initiatives
- Support organizational growth by building scalable and efficient supply chain practices
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Minimum of 2 years of supply chain management experience
- Software skills - strong with Excel formulas such as VLOOKUP, Google Sheets, statistics, and can navigate a P&L
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Experience working with overseas factories and suppliers
- Background in fine jewelry or luxury goods strongly preferred
Job Details
- Full-time on-site role located in New York City
- Office hours are 9AM to 5PM
- Schedule: M-f
- Salary: 70-90K- based on experience level
