Supply Chain Manager, Electrical Assemblies
About the role
AWS is a cloud services company that powers thousands of businesses globally. The ISCaP team focuses on delivering sustainable infrastructure through sourcing, building, and maintaining data center supply chains. This role involves managing the allocation of infrastructure components across multiple manufacturers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Perform forecasting, demand analysis, material/inventory management, and manage supply buffers
- Understand manufacturing processes to verify supply commitments and reduce cycle times
- Work with component suppliers and server manufacturers to analyze, reconcile allocation, and monitor changes and cancellations
- Participate in requirements gathering
- Understand the supply chain network and work with various analytics and software development teams, driving automation
- Develop analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics, monitor SLAs, and report findings
- Produce written recommendations and insights to inform key stakeholders of supply chain health and help shape solution design
Requirements
- 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience
- 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations
- Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
- Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company
Qualifications
