Supply Chain Manager, Co-Manufacturing
About Javvy
Javvy is on a mission to set a new standard for café favorites with better-for-you beverages that are craveable, convenient, and without compromise. Positioned at the intersection of café culture, convenience, and functional nutrition, we’re reimagining the drinks people buy every day — proving you don't have to compromise between great taste and quality ingredients.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to own co-manufacturing, production scheduling, and conversion-cost strategy across Javvy's external manufacturing network. This is a mid-to-senior individual contributor role for someone ready to run a network, not just a single plant relationship. This role will own co-manufacturer relationships, tolling negotiations, capacity planning, and SKU-to-plant allocation that directly impact product availability, on-time delivery, and company margin. You'll play a critical role in scaling a co-manufacturing network that keeps pace with Javvy's rapid growth across retail, ecommerce, and new product expansion. This is a cross-functional role partnering closely with Procurement, Planning, Operations, Finance, R&D, and Quality.
What You’ll Own
- Co-Manufacturer Management & Production
- Own production scheduling across Javvy's co-manufacturing network, converting the demand and supply plan into committed run dates and line time at each plant
- Manage day-to-day production, changeover sequencing, and the quarantine-to-release quality flow with each partner
- Build and maintain co-manufacturer relationships focused on quality, reliability, scalability, and long-term partnership
- Qualify, onboard, and transition co-manufacturers, including audits, quality agreements, trial runs, and first-article approval
- Capacity Planning & Cost/Tolling Negotiation
- Maintain rolling production forecasts to each plant and track capacity utilization to trigger dual-sourcing ahead of shortages
- Lead conversion and tolling-rate negotiations including changeover fees, MOQs, volume tiers, waste and yield tolerances, and escalators
- Own SKU-to-plant allocation and network-optimization decisions, balancing conversion cost, freight, capability, capacity, single-point-of-failure risk, and the product roadmap
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Procurement, Planning, Operations, Finance, R&D, and Quality to ensure supply continuity
- Support new product launches and formulation changes through co-manufacturer coordination and scale-up
- Be the point of contact for production disruptions, expediting materials and reshuffling volume across nodes to keep units flowing
- Ensure co-manufacturers meet regulatory, food safety, and quality standards
You’re a Fit If...
- 3–5 years of experience managing co-manufacturers, contract manufacturers, or external manufacturing
- Strong co-manufacturing experience, understanding how manufacturing decisions impact the broader business and P&L
- Thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
