About The Role
In the Supply Chain Manager role, you will lead the production planning function, setting production plans, buying raw materials, and managing inventory of both raw and finished goods. You will develop and recommend plans to advance projects, balance capacity, and support required downtime for maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Lead schedulers to create production plans across the network
- Ensure timely and accurate purchase execution to support production plans
- Own planning-relevant master data
- Responsible for planning KPIs; analyze trends, identify root cause and opportunities, develop plans, and ensure performance meets or exceeds goals
- Evaluate supply chain network, including sourcing and stocking setup, to reduce transportation and warehouse costs
- Represent production planning in Integrated Business Planning meetings, and resolve potential capacity concerns
- Maintain and develop standard processes to ensure consistent execution and drive high performance
- Engage in new product development process and other projects to understand and support requirements, establish production strategy, and service the customer
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and ensure product availability
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing planning team; improve team performance and ensure employee growth
- Responsible for hiring and filling open team positions

Requirements
- Five plus years of experience in Supply Chain Logistics, Inventory Control, Production Scheduling, Forecasting or related field, preferably in the beverage industry
- Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of JD Edwards or related ERP Planning Software systems
- Strong knowledge of planning software (MPS/MRP/DRP) and planning best practices
- Direct experience in employee supervision
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and planning skills
