About the role
The Supply Chain Manager will lead the supply chain team and its key initiatives, overseeing plant-level schedules to ensure timely and effective execution. This role involves adapting schedules to business and customer needs while maintaining key metrics, costs, and strategic priorities. The position collaborates with all business units (Operations, Supply Chain, Technical, Commercial Sales, Finance, and Leadership) and engages directly with customers to deliver results and meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage the execution and adherence of the supply plan; ensure deviations align with business rules and elevate issues for approval.
- Lead the scheduler role and warehouse team.
- Create detailed daily plant schedules.
- Measure key supply chain metrics (OTIF – Promise vs. Request, Inventory levels in units, schedule attainment, receipt accuracy, etc.), analyze results, and develop actions to drive improvement.
- Drive consistency and compliance with standard supply chain work processes (systemic and physical) across the business unit.
- Ensure master planning data for all facilities is accurate and maintained; perform monthly/quarterly audits for compliance.
- Assist plant operations in maintaining systemic inventory accuracy and transaction integrity; perform daily/weekly audits for compliance.
- Collaborate with sales and operations planning, supply chain project management, commercial, and operations teams to develop creative solutions that drive value for the business.
Requirements
- BS/BA Degree required (Supply Chain/Operations or Business Management preferred).
- Experience in a Supply Chain-related field (Demand/Supply/Inventory/Production Scheduling/Capacity Planning, Warehousing, and/or Optimization).
- Prior leadership experience desired.
- Proficiency in SAP (PP, MM, APO, SNP, PPDS & WMS) or a related ERP system is required.
