Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Planning and Purchasing Manager to oversee the end-to-end material lifecycle at our manufacturing site. You will be responsible for ensuring non-stop production through meticulous demand planning, proactive sourcing, and high-level stakeholder collaboration. This role combines operational excellence with people leadership, requiring a candidate who can navigate complex global supply chains while fostering a high-performing local team.
Job Requirements
- BS degree (Supply Chain, Engineering or equal) required, MBA preferred.
- 3 years of experience managing planning and purchasing.
- SAP experience required.
- Significant experience in managing material purchasing and service contracts.
- Proven experience in sourcing and commercial negotiations.
- Solid understanding and experience in managing domestic and international logistics.
- Contract Drafting & Review: Developing and finalizing contracts, amendments, and service-level agreements
- Risk Mitigation: Analyzing terms to identify and mitigate legal or financial risks
- Negotiation: Leading negotiations on contractual terms with vendors and stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Record Management: Maintaining a database of active and expired contracts, tracking deliverables, and overseeing renewals.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to process high volume of complex data.
- Strong Microsoft Office capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor supply chain operations, including long lead-time materials and capacity-driven planning.
- Expertise in demand planning, MRP, supply planning, and procurement processes.
- Advanced experience with ERP systems (SAP MM preferred) and planning tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Compensation
$130,000/year - $137,000/year
