About The Role
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of technology assets, component sourcing, and infrastructure logistics network. You will collaborate with engineering and architect teams to forecast demand, negotiate vendor contracts with OEMs, SAAS, and build resilient, agile global supply chains. The goal is ensuring the seamless availability of hardware, semiconductor components, and data center equipment while optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO).
What You’ll Do
Supply Chain Management: Performs procurement function, such as data center infrastructure/software/technical services procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor management. Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, internal stakeholders, and top management. Identifies and manages technology vendors, component manufacturers, and cloud infrastructure partners. Negotiates Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and pricing strategies to mitigate risk and control costs. Builds redundancy into the supplier network to protect the company from geopolitical disruptions or regional component shortages.
Demand Planning & Lifecycle Management: Partners closely with Engineering and Architect teams to translate technical roadmaps into multi-year supply chain forecasts. Manages end-of-life (EOL) cycles, ensuring smooth transitions to next-generation tech without piling up obsolete inventory. Monitors global market trends, pricing, and lead times to proactively adjust purchasing strategies. Provides supports to Accounting and Finance teams with cashflow forecasting and budgeting with great understanding of accounting and A/P principles.
Data Center & Logistics Operations: Oversees domestic and global logistics, customs compliance, and delivery of high-value hardware to decentralized data centers. Collaborates with Inventory Management team to track hardware assets from production to deployment and maintain healthy inventory levels. Collaborates with program management to ensure that parts are available for planned customer deliveries.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications: Education - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred. Experience - 5+ years of supply chain, procurement, or sourcing—ideally within a technology/engineering environment. Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite). Excellent communication skills and attention to details. Strong stakeholder management abilities.
