And if that is something that resonates, well then ... we would love an opportunity to speak with you.Summary:This role is responsible for managing and executing Airgain's supply chain strategy, under the direction of the VP, Operations, to ensure continuity of material supply supporting both current production and future product demand.The role is an individual contributor who will blend strategic planning with hands-on execution, owning supply continuity, cost management, and supplier strategy to support revenue attainment, margin performance, and working capital objectives.This individual serves as a key cross-functional partner across Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to proactively mitigate supply risk and ensure material readiness across the product lifecycle.Essential Function:Order Execution & DeliveryAlign supply with demand to support production schedules, product forecasts, and customer commitmentsDrive on-time delivery performance across suppliers and contract manufacturing partnersManage material shortages, allocations, and escalation paths to minimize disruptionCost & Margin ManagementLead cost reduction initiatives across BOM and supplier pricingNegotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers and manufacturing partnersPartner with Finance to improve margin visibility and drive profitabilitySupply Planning & ContinuityManage supply pipeline planning across current and future product demandIdentify and mitigate risks related to long lead-time, allocation, and single-source componentsDevelop and execute supply continuity plans to prevent production disruptionEnsure alignment between forecasting, supply planning, and financial performanceDrive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process in partnership with Sales, Finance, and Operations to align demand, supply, and financial plansManage component end-of-life and obsolescence risk, including last-time-buy planningDefine, track, and report key supply chain metrics (on-time delivery, inventory turns, cost savings, supplier scorecards) to the VP, OperationsInventory & Cash Flow OptimizationManage inventory levels, turns, and excess & obsolete exposureAlign purchasing decisions with working capital and cash flow objectivesBalance supply availability with financial targets and demand variabilitySupplier & Commodity StrategyDevelop sourcing strategies for key commodities and componentsLead supplier selection, qualification support, and ongoing performance managementDrive manufacturing partner accountability in partnership with operations teamPartner with Quality on supplier quality performance, scorecards, and corrective actionsNew Product Introduction & Component CompliancePartner with Engineering early in new product introduction (NPI) on component selection, approved vendor list development, and design-for-supply-chainRequirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, or related field, or equivalent5+ years of experience in supply chain or operations within electronics or manufacturing environmentsStrong experience managing global suppliers, contract manufacturers, and component sourcingProven successful track record in:Cost negotiation and supplier managementSupply planning, allocation management, and shortage mitigationInventory optimization and working capital managementExperience with long lead-time components (e.g., semiconductors, memory, cellular modules) highly preferredStrong financial acumen with ability to connect supply decisions to margin and cash flow impactProficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and data-driven decision makingAbility to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and cross-functional leadership skillsExperience in RF, antenna, wireless, or connectivity hardware preferredExperience managing EMS/ODM partners and offshore (Asia-based) manufacturingProficiency with analytics/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced ExcelWell versed in Excel, WORD and PowerPointAbility to work non-standard hours based on requirements with offshore partnersWillingness to travel domestically and internationally to suppliers and manufacturing partners (approximately 10%)Benefits available to Regular Full Time Employees:Medical/Dental/Vision401K MatchESPPLife & Disability InsuranceVacation and Sick LeaveFlexible hoursCompensation:The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$125,000 + target annual bonus.Our salary ranges are determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to the role, location, job-related skills, relevant education, experience and training.The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target range for new hire base salary for the position across all US locations and varies by the location of the position.
