Responsibilities
- Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for customer-related business processes or for internal use as a generalist or in a combination of Purchasing Disciplines.
- Manage the MRP process to ensure the best manufacturing schedule of Seppic Inc., Richmond in accordance with sales forecast and stock level target.
- Purchasing of non-stored goods in coordination with Air Liquide’s corporate purchasing team.
- Leverage corporate purchasing best practices.
- To organize procurement activities to include raw materials, packaging etc.
- To ensure the management of Seppic Inc., Richmond stock (Raw material receipt and transfer to manufacturing line, Finished products stock management).
- To organize the shipping of customers orders (Worldwide).
- Manage all procurement needs for the Polykon plant.
- Main activities: Manager the Procurement and Supply Chain team.
- To ensure the ERP systems have appropriate parameters in place.
- To ensure for Seppic Inc., Richmond a good level of MRP analysis (plantification activity).
- To control that procurement activities are done as required.
- To ensure a good handling of products in the Polykon warehouse and in the external warehouse in accordance with safety rules and GMP.
- To participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) each month with the corporate team in Seppic SA.
- To take decisions concerning slow raw materials or packaging stock.
- To negotiate claims treatment with suppliers.
- To manage the claim process with supplies.
Qualifications
- A good knowledge of Microsoft AX Dynamics and ERP principles.
- A good knowledge of best practice in supply chain and procurement.
- Management of diverse teams.
- Mechanical engineering or related field.
- Manufacturing experience of 5+ years.
- Freshwater is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
- Good distribution practices (EFFCi and FDA).
- Bachelor degree, Business Administration or related field.
- 5+ years of supply chain experience.
- Management experience.
