Supply Chain Manager
Eaton’s Electrical Sector – Power Distribution & Controls Assemblies (PDCA) business is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to join our manufacturing site leadership team in Omaha, Nebraska. Relocation assistance will be provided. Our Omaha Power Center is expanding its operations in Bellevue with a new 370,000-square-foot facility expected to be online in the first half of 2027, designed to support high-volume switchgear production for AI data centers.
About the role
This role will lead the ERP transition for the supply chain function and support site-wide ERP integration. You will manage materials flow, inventory, and a team including schedulers, buyers, material handlers, and warehouse associates to ensure operational efficiency during plant expansion.
Responsibilities
- Lead the ERP transition for the supply chain function and collaborate with IT and project teams for successful integration.
- Manage supply chain and material management during the plant expansion project.
- Oversee materials flow, inventory transactions, and lean material deployment to support plant operations.
- Identify and lead supplier resiliency projects to reduce single sourcing and delivery risks.
- Administer Indirect and MRO purchasing in alignment with Eaton standards.
- Escalate material availability issues to the Center of Excellence (COE) and Network teams.
- Lead warehouse layout and design for the plant expansion project.
- Develop the planning, purchasing, and warehouse teams to support site growth and operations.
- Mature process discipline in material operations, warehouse, and logistics.
- Maintain target inventory levels and meet On-Time Delivery (OTD) goals for internal and external customers.
- Monitor execution of the production schedule and align labor on the factory floor.
- Drive forecast attainment aligned with the SIOP plan.
- Champion continuous improvement using tools like internal assessments (MMA, OPA), visual management, standard work, and value stream mapping.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, developing and controlling production schedules and inventory levels.
- Minimum 2 years of direct leadership experience.
- Proven experience with ERP and procurement processes (SAP preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, systems, or finance.
- Master’s degree in engineering, MBA, supply chain, systems, or finance.
- 3-5 years of supply chain supervision and leadership experience.
- Prior experience integrating an ERP transition, S4/HANA highly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- APICS / CPIM Certification.
Pay
The expected annual salary range for this role is $113,000 - $165,000, based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
