Supply Chain Manager
About the role
This role is an individual contributor on the Operations team, reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the entire supply chain lifecycle, from procurement and vendor management through to finished good shipment across channels.
Responsibilities
Own day-to-day procurement execution across raw materials and finished goods
Determine PO timing in partnership with the Inventory Planner, incorporating supplier lead times, MOQs, and production schedules
Place and manage purchase orders within our ERP system, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines
Track open POs and proactively communicate with vendors to ensure materials arrive in full, on time, and in good condition
Serve as a core ERP user for supply chain operations, maintaining accurate lead times, vendor data, and order statuses across channels and purchase orders
Maintain system discipline within our ERP, monitor order flow, and resolve exceptions in partnership with internal support teams
Support continued stabilization and improvement of our recently integrated ERP environment
Manage relationships and performance for a portfolio of suppliers and contract manufacturers
Track supplier KPIs including lead time adherence and purchase price variance
Communicate weekly with contract manufacturers on production status and shipment readiness
Partner with Distribution & Logistics to ensure seamless handoff through final shipment
Maintain in-stock levels of critical DTC non-sellable materials (mailers, inserts, packaging components)
Balance weeks of cover, cost, and cash flow through disciplined ordering practices
Build and maintain supplier scorecards and structured performance tracking
Support cost optimization initiatives, including RFPs and vendor negotiations
Contribute to scalable procurement processes as the business grows
Requirements
4-6+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, or related roles, ideally within CPG, wellness, food/beverage, or other physical product environments
Hands-on experience managing purchase orders and supplier communications
Ownership mindset: take full responsibility for delivering results, not just completing tasks
Bias for action: see the problem, solve it, and improve the process
Execution excellence: strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball
Analytical ability: strong in Excel/Google Sheets; able to analyze data, spot trends, and make recommendations
Vendor & partner management: experience working with contract manufacturers and external vendors networks
Adaptability: comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
