Job Summary
Cosasco is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to develop and implement a supply chain strategy that enhances customer satisfaction through on-time delivery, lead time, and quality metrics, reduces inventory, and minimizes total landed cost.
Principle Responsibilities
- Oversees and coordinates with suppliers and other departments to ensure and verify product specifications, availability, pricing, and delivery dates.
- Develops and manages procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints.
- Develops, negotiates, and administers purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements.
- Drives inventory turns, reduces cycles, and improves customer on-time delivery by implementing pull-based replenishment processes like Kanban, VMI, and Supplier Consigned inventory.
- Maintains awareness of global markets and industry trends, positioning the supply chain to adapt flexibly.
- Continuously assesses supply chain risks and implements strategies to mitigate them.
- Selects and approves suppliers based on criteria such as price, quality, support, capacity, and reliability.
- Supports new product introductions, proposal development, and subcontracting opportunities.
- Develops and maintains strategic supplier relationships.
- Utilizes Epicor MRP system for purchasing and performance tracking.
- Introduces performance improvement measures for suppliers.
- Reviews purchase orders for proper authorization and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Education And Experience
- College degree in business, materials management, supply chain, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in purchasing and planning in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years’ supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of procurement and contracts laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain systems, LEAN principles, and MRP/ERP systems.
Work Conditions And Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Flexible schedule, including some weekend hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Remote Fridays.
- Up to 20% travel may be required.
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 annually, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
