Supply Chain Manager, ADC IOPT

About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to help deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Track the status of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Order using internal tools and processes
• Manage, analyze, and reconcile purchase orders internally and externally
• Work with vendors and Procurement to coordinate purchase order changes and approvals
• Monitor and coordinate purchase order issuance and cancellations
• Track recurring issues in the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order creation process and proactively recommend solutions to improve the process
• Present performance and metrics associated with the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order processes
• Manage a ticket queue
• Issue POs and manage timely payment
• Material/Inventory Planning
• Supply/Demand planning and Forecasting
• Maintain continuity of supply (COS)
• Communicate supply status, risks/mitigations to internal stakeholders and leadership
• Work with data and analytics (ability to view, edit, and extrapolate data in Excel or similar spreadsheet software)
• Collaborate with suppliers/vendors, datacenters, and inventory warehousing teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of program or project management experience
• 1+ years of supply chain experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
• Experience in MS Access and SQL
• Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents

Pay

USA, VA, Herndon - $64,200.00 - $96,200.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
