About the role

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world. The Amazon Leo team is looking for a Mgr. ASIC Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain execution for complex semiconductor ASIC programs. This role owns demand planning, foundry and OSAT management, capacity strategy, and risk mitigation across a global manufacturing footprint. Ensure ASIC Clear to Build for Satellite and Customer Terminals as well as for special project executions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all activities related to order fulfillment, from forecasts to delivery, including day-to-day communication and management of the components suppliers globally.
  • Manage a team of Supply Chain professionals to handle Satellite and Customer Terminal Supply.
  • Own end-to-end supply chain for ASICs through all aspects including wafer starts, assembly, test, and final delivery.
  • Drive demand/supply alignment through collaboration with internal teams.
  • Manage supply risks (e.g., shortages, geopolitical, yield, logistics) with proactive mitigation plans.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level reporting for internal ASIC supply reviews.
  • Liaison with Amazon Leo Headquarters planning team to monitor, manage, and drive goals/schedules.
  • Communicate forecast and verify fulfillment from a materials perspective.
  • Drive solutions to reduce and eliminate shortages preventing meeting order schedules, including assisting in sourcing materials as required.
  • Schedule and host meetings with suppliers in the U.S. and/or globally as required.
  • Responsible for report generation and distribution.
  • Represent the project team in internal/external program meetings.
  • Travel required, up to 10%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience managing efforts in Unix/Linux environments, distributed systems, or developing large-scale web applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience with Agile or other program management methodologies.

Pay

USA, CA, Sunnyvale - $201,300.00 - $272,400.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
