Supply Chain / Logistics Manager

About the role

Leads the Support Organization (Receiving and Inventory Control), defines and implements industry-leading distribution and labor management strategies, standards, and guidelines at the Americas Distribution Center (ADC).

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages exempt/non-exempt Distribution team members across two shifts in the department of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Plans and organizes daily activities related to department strategy.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff over the assigned department.
• Maintains regular performance discussions with employees and ensures discussions are held with all employees within the assigned department.
• Measures productivity and quality by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
• Maintains and reports on department KPIs monthly.
• Coordinates with other departments such as human resources, finance, and quality to ensure successful operations.
• Assists in planning departmental budgets and monitors budget adherence.
• Determines labor needs to meet departmental labor management goals.
• Ensures department-related process documents are complete and employee training is effective.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of industry-standard Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
• Knowledge and experience with labor management, engineered labor standards, and managing to performance standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically, 3-5 years of successful experience in Inventory Management.
• Experience managing both direct and contract workforce in a competitive labor environment.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Travel may be up to 10% for this position.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $99,930 - $137,401. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission-eligible position, the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
