Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organizational supply chain strategy to align with business goals.
- Optimize expense management for over $80M in annual spend, driving cost savings and efficiency.
- Lead and grow the supply chain team, recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent across sourcing, purchasing, planning, logistics, and inventory management.
- Oversee forecast modeling, vendor management, purchasing, inbound freight, shipping/receiving, and inventory operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and supplier partners to drive continuous improvement and superior supply chain execution.
- Ensure disciplined use of ERP/MRP systems, including BOM management and inventory control best practices.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement process improvements, Lean principles, and cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain.
- Maintain expertise in purchasing commodities including steel, steel weldments, hydraulics, and electrical components for equipment and automotive products.
- Ensure compliance with logistics terms, contracts, and industry standards.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding negotiating competitive pricing models.
- Exceptional ability to analyze market data, develop forecast models, and leverage reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic, results-driven decisions.
- Hands on practice applying Toyota’s lean manufacturing philosophy.
- Actively participated in or led efforts to make processes, products, or systems better through continuous improvement / kaizen experience.
- Hands on work with a moving assembly line.
