About the Role

As a Supply Chain Data Analyst Intern, you will manage a portion of a Demand Analyst portfolio, gaining real-time experience in demand planning activities. You will execute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to support the planning organization, perform analyses, and assist with cross-functional projects within the broader supply chain. Additionally, you will complete a summer project focused on a specific deliverable with measurable business benefits, culminating in a presentation to Motorola Solutions executives and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a segment of a Demand Analyst portfolio, engaging in real-time demand planning activities.
• Execute reporting tasks on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to support the planning organization.
• Perform data analysis and assist with cross-functional projects within the supply chain organization.
• Complete a summer project with a specific, measurable business deliverable.
• Present the summer project findings to Motorola Solutions executives and senior leaders.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• Graduation date on or after December 2026.

Skills

• Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Comfort with numbers, data analysis, and statistical concepts; ability to interpret data, identify trends, and build forecasts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Strong command of Excel, including functions like VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, SUMIFS, and creating charts/reports to analyze large datasets.
• Communication Skills: Ability to present findings clearly and concisely, explain methodology, and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented to ensure accuracy when working with large datasets.
• Problem-Solving: Logical and structured approach to challenges, including identifying root causes of forecasting errors and proposing solutions.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize work between daily tasks, the summer project, and other intern projects effectively.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team setting to make decisions and drive results.
