Our Supply Chain internships offer a chance to explore opportunities in the supply chain while working on real projects such as process improvements, space utilization, and warehouse operations systems analysis. Responsibilities

  • Work on real projects such as process improvements in flow planning for finished products, raw materials, and finishing supplies.
  • Conduct space utilization and optimization analysis.
  • Perform warehouse operations systems analysis.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic business goals of Kimberly-Clark.
  • Take on responsibilities and accountabilities as a valued team member.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic capabilities with a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall GPA (preferred).
  • Completion of at least 1 year of college courses, preferably in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics Management, Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive actions to completion.
  • Ability to navigate challenging situations or complex problems to achieve goals.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Power BI/Query, Tableau, CAD, or SolidWorks.

Functional Areas

  • Customer Logistics Strategies and Services: Provide efficient, cost-effective solutions for order management, build relationships with customers, and work to improve supply chain performance.
  • Material Planning: Manage raw material and finishing supply plans, generate requirements across manufacturing sites, and partner with vendors to optimize ordering.
  • Distribution Operations: Manage product flow from case packer to shipment loading, drive performance of third-party DC operations, and support distribution initiatives.
  • Logistics – Manufacturing: Manage inbound and outbound flow within manufacturing, inventory control, and problem-solving for warehouse accountabilities.
  • Distribution Process & Systems: Oversee Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), analyze productivity, and support e-commerce fulfillment processes.
  • Transportation: Collaborate with carriers for cost-effective delivery, analyze mode/carrier selection, and measure performance.
  • Safety / Environmental: Aid in applying Kimberly-Clark’s EHS Standards and enhance safety and environmental performance.
  • Procurement: Strategically manage supplier selection, contracts, and purchasing to ensure value and compliance.
  • Digital Manufacturing: Drive data availability and optimization of Smart Manufacturing Operation Management (SMOM) systems.

Work Schedules and Locations

  • Co-Op (6 or 9 months): Full-time (M-F) in Neenah, WI, from May to December 2027.
  • Year-Round Internships: Full-time in person for Summer (May/June 2027 to August 2027), part-time remote during the school year (September 2027 to May 2028), recommended in Neenah, WI.

Starting Hourly Wage: $21.50 USD (eligible for overtime pay). Note: Pay range applies to US locations only.
