About the role
We are seeking a Supply Chain Contract Analyst to independently perform procurement and supplier management functions. This role supports system-wide agreements, capital spend management, and corporate operations through various contract management activities. The position serves as a key liaison between the supply chain, procurement teams, and the legal department, focusing on the review and processing of contracts.
Responsibilities
- Review, redline, and mark up contracts, ensuring business terms are accurately reflected before routing them to the legal department.
- Analyze and negotiate business terms with vendors to reach agreement.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and contract agreements are in place, acquiring them from external parties as needed.
- Process requisitions for items such as equipment maintenance, service contracts, and purchases over a certain threshold, assessing needs and coordinating with vendors.
- Manage contracts within the OnBase contract management system, including uploading documents and notifying the legal team for review.
- Support capital management and equipment sourcing processes, including securing competitive bids.
- Gather data to support corporate metrics and analytics.
Requirements
- A background as a contract analyst with an understanding of contracting terms, conditions, and procurement processes is required. The ideal candidate will be mid-level, though slightly less experience may be considered.
- Experience working with supply chain and procurement teams is a plus.
Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), Adobe PDF, and related software.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with contract management systems.
- Experience using Workday.
Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring one day per week in the office. The analyst will join a small, collaborative team. This position presents an opportunity for permanent conversion.
