Supply Chain Analyst
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst supports the supply chain department and internal customers by developing reports and metrics for continuous improvement, managing supplier costs, and analyzing data.
Requirements
- Gather and analyze data for management team support of continuous improvement projects in the supply chain
- Maintain and update supplier cost files and adjust them in the ERP system
- Monitor and report supplier on-time delivery performance and other key department KPIs to the Director of Corporate Supply Chain
- Use Excel and ERP system to find, retrieve, filter, and validate data
- Drive analyses from various aspects of the operation to show issues and required actions
- Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements to Supply Chain Management
- Develop metrics to track performance of improvement plans
- Research needed data to support regulatory compliance requirements
- Support the corporate inventory right-sizing strategy
- Automate manual work in Excel
- Populate and issue standard weekly/monthly reporting for all areas of Supply Chain
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience with a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement. Advanced Excel ability (pivot tables/v-lookups/macros) is required. - MRP and demand planning experience (plus)
