Qualifications
Standard 40 hour work week.
Work Location: In person.
- Process, create, and track documents/purchase orders associated with customer needs, domestic and international.
- Create rapport while managing outside vendors and serve in a liaison capacity across departments.
- Works closely with Program Managers, production control, and logistics to ensure effective working relationships.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emails and phone calls, acknowledging them by COB daily within the standard work week.
- Review purchase orders requirements to assess and validate price and lead time to ensure on-time delivery to the customer.
- Ensure items driving extra costs are captured, tracked, and executed.
- Track Not Needed, Move-In, and Move-Out exceptions to be processed within 7 working days, as well as Past Due orders.
- Communicate with both internal and external customers with utmost professionalism, dignity, and respect.
- Support status and communication in a timely manner with every other department in the building.
- Effectively communicate any PO issues or possible delays to customers and creatively think of solutions to delays.
- Actively pursue and support daily/monthly sales expectations.
- Ensure Logistics awareness regarding the generation of purchase orders if logistics support is necessary.
- Communicate with Logistics on load and shipping support.
- Work with vendors on managing performance issues, both quality and delivery.
- Work closely with production control on priorities such as past dues, shortages, delays, etc.
- Attend department and company meetings as requested.
- Be on time and be present (only business critical cell phone activity).
3-5 years experience preferred. Adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday. Familiarity with planning and ERP software, Syteline a plus. Experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement. Knowledge of the aerospace/aviation industry. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Organized, focused, and results-oriented. Excellent problem-solving and prioritizing ability. Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel. Ability to read and interpret aerospace bill of materials, engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions. Timely execution on Dynamic assigned training. Hand/finger dexterity.
