Supply Chain Analyst IV, Demand Planning
About the role
This position is responsible for performing moderately complex data analysis on historical purchasing trends to determine future forecasts and inventory needs; creating and analyzing demand forecasts; performing Return on Investment (ROI) analysis for Kaiser Permanente centrally owned inventory; identifying, communicating, and resolving standard and non-standard product shortages, independently, and identifying acceptable alternatives for shortage items, in partnership with sourcing / suppliers / clinicians, and communicating to suppliers/vendors and supply chain teams; participating in the spend savings process on behalf of supply chain in partnership with finance, independently; contributing to inventory readiness and depletion for new products, and conversions, independently; evaluating moderately complex automated replenishment activities across the majority of inventory categories, as well as optimizing stock/par levels at the consumption point; and supporting preparation of moderately complex inventory data and analysis.

Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with databases and spreadsheets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Material Management, Operations Research, or related field AND minimum four (4) years of experience in purchasing, contracting, negotiations, material management, logistics, finance, or a directly related field OR Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Materials and Inventory Control/Management, Logistics, Finance, Distribution, or a directly related field.
- Two (2) years of experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Two (2) years of experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Two (2) years of experience working with Forecasting and Planning.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in purchasing, contracting, negotiations, material management, logistics, finance, or a directly related field.
- Five (5) years of experience with databases and spreadsheets.
