Supply Chain Analyst

We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to be a significant contributor to the overall improvement of Supply Chain and Logistics efficiency and effectiveness for Sensient. You will utilize your data analytical skills to drive strategy and operational performance in the various areas of supply chain and logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate data into a centralized location.
• Manage the development of standardized reporting and metrics to measure global logistics KPI's.
• Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g., warehouse-slotting, route planning, carrier performance, affiliate demand forecast and replenishment).
• Perform data quality analysis and manage follow-up resolution with service providers to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Partner with Supply Chain leadership to drive carrier performance through active monitoring, reporting & scorecard development.
• Understand the impact logistics planning has on end-to-end shipment execution (including how logistics planning impacts material releases).
• Collect data on supply chain operations & research root cause and drive corrective action to improve Supply Chain and Logistics performance and achieve business objectives.
• Use data to identify and highlight issues and opportunities to optimize supply chain, improve efficiency, and minimize logistic spend and costs.
• Assemble and assess commercial forecasts based on market and competitive information, sales history, customer trends and product promotions to deliver improved
