Supply Chain Analyst

Due to Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

About the Role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL facility. The role involves using a variety of tools and systems, including Oracle, eComprass, APS, VMI, ICON, COPICS, e-warehouse, and Webplanner, to ensure parts availability for large customers and projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform extensive data analysis, such as comparing forecasts to supplier commitment schedules and providing gap analysis.
• Analyze customer proposals for pricing and delivery information accuracy.
• Implement and improve supply programs, including determining eligibility and training others on new or updated programs.
• Analyze reports and data, then present recommendations to Senior Management.
• Capture and analyze data to provide metrics in accordance with corporate standards.
• Create ad-hoc reports by pulling data from abstract sources.
• Lead a team in developing effective problem-solving skills throughout the supply chain process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4-6 years of experience working as an Analyst, preferably in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and macro creation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to become proficient in company-specific software tools (e.g., Oracle, eComprass, APS, VMI).
