Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

The SCM Analyst will contribute to the planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management of parts delivery. This role involves strong communication with internal and external teams to support supply chain and logistics functions, including material procurement, placement of planned make/buys, outsourcing, and vendor selection.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, organize, and manage RFQs/RFPs from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution through requisition placement.
• Handle material scheduling, coordination, and creation/modification of both independent and dependent demands.
• Execute sourcing in compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
• Track material promise dates in coordination with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and ARV Partners.
• Provide planning and reporting analysis for tracking material shortages for job orders, kitting, sub-assemblies, and installations/stations based on requirements.
• Align demands and promise dates; coordinate material release schedules with Manufacturing.
• Provide input to Make/Buy decisions for material and components in coordination with Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Support MRP planning for MBOM structure and development.
• Analyze key performance indicators to ensure supply chain service level goals are achieved.
• Anticipate emerging trends and their potential impact on the business.
• Process both initial release and change requests into Planned Buys or Planned Orders for all program material.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently with a clear understanding of department and program priorities.
• Detailed experience with material planning, demands, requisition placement, and PO tracking.
• Experience with ERP software like Oracle, SAP, Deltek, etc.
• Understanding of soft pegging, hard pegging, and MRP planning.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information while maintaining confidentiality.
• Positive attitude and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work as a contributing member of multi-disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with Configuration Management Analyst duties/principles and support for setting up BOMs or processing material change requests.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Deltek Costpoint or equivalent ERP system.
• Working knowledge of technical/manufacturing installation and sequencing.
• Experience in Fabrication and/or Assembly.
• Understanding of design release activities, engineering changes, and their effect on MBOMs.
• Solid knowledge of technical standards, manufacturing engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
• Understanding of Teamcenter.
• Experience with defense contracts and DCMA audits.

Experience

Desired: 3-5 years of experience in Planning or a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management with 4 years of experience in Planning.

Background Prerequisites

• Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, and controlled substance testing.
• All employment at ARV is contingent upon the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if the position requires it.
