Supply Chain Analyst
About the role
The Procurement Category Analyst – Electronics supports the Electronics Category Management team by providing data-driven insights, market intelligence, savings analytics, supplier performance reporting, and sourcing support across electronic components, EMS, PCBs, wire and cable, connectors, and related technologies. This role helps strengthen procurement decision-making, improve supply assurance, support cost reduction initiatives, and enable effective supplier and category strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain spend, savings, forecast, inflation, lead-time, inventory, and supplier performance reporting for the Electronics category.
- Analyze category spend and supplier data to identify savings opportunities, risk areas, pricing gaps, and opportunities for supply base optimization.
- Support Global and Regional Category Managers with RFQ preparation, target setting, award analysis, supplier negotiations, and business review materials.
- Monitor electronics market trends, including semiconductors, passive components, PCB, EMS, connectors, and wire and cable market dynamics, and translate insights into actionable procurement recommendations.
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Business Unit stakeholders to validate savings, forecast demand, assess risk, and align procurement actions with business priorities.
- Build, improve, and automate analytical tools, dashboards, and repeatable reporting processes that increase visibility and improve procurement decision-making.
- Maintain accurate procurement data across systems and ensure reporting is clear, consistent, and aligned with category objectives.
- Prepare professional presentations, executive summaries, and category updates that communicate insights, risks, actions, and results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, category management, sourcing, finance, analytics, or related business function.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets, identify trends, and convert findings into clear recommendations.
- Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders and present information in a concise, professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve problems, and support decisions using data and sound business judgment.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting electronics procurement, including semiconductors, passive components, PCBs, EMS, connectors, wire and cable, or distribution channels.
- Knowledge of sourcing processes, RFQs, supplier negotiations, cost modeling, savings validation, and supplier performance management.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (experience with Power BI, SAP, SQL, or similar tools is preferred).
- Familiarity with electronics market intelligence, lead-time analysis, component lifecycle risk, country-of-origin strategy, and supply base optionality.
- Experience developing dashboards, recurring reports, executive presentations, or procurement performance scorecards.
- Exposure to global manufacturing, new product development, or cross-regional procurement teams.

Pay
$70,000 - $100,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
