Position Overview
GTI Fabrication is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support the optimization of material flow, inventory performance, production readiness, and supply chain execution across our manufacturing operations. This role serves as a critical link between Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Operations, and Finance by transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational performance and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate trends related to inventory, supplier performance, procurement activity, material shortages, lead times, production readiness, and customer delivery performance
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools that provide visibility into key supply chain performance indicators
- Develop executive-level reporting that supports strategic decision-making across Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams
- Perform root-cause analysis on supply chain disruptions and recommend corrective actions to improve performance
- Partner with Planning and Procurement teams to identify material constraints and proactively mitigate risks to production schedules
- Monitor inventory health, including excess and obsolete inventory, inventory turns, safety stock levels, and material availability
- Support cycle count programs, inventory accuracy initiatives, variance analysis, and inventory optimization efforts
- Analyze demand and consumption trends to recommend inventory parameter adjustments that improve service levels while minimizing working capital
- Support Supplier Performance & Procurement
- Support Production Readiness & Operational Support
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data integrity, and streamline supply chain processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data-driven methodologies
- Support ERP and MRP system optimization efforts to improve planning accuracy, reporting capabilities, and operational visibility
- Participate in cross-functional projects focused on supply chain scalability, operational excellence, and business growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Operations Analytics, Manufacturing Analytics, or related functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and convert findings into actionable business recommendations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data modeling, and complex reporting
- Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems to analyze inventory, purchasing, planning, and operational data
- Ability to travel up to 75-90% as needed to support supplier engagement, business partner collaboration, operational initiatives, audits, and project execution
- Strong understanding of: Demand Planning, Material Planning, Inventory Management, Procurement Operations, Production Scheduling, Supply Chain Performance Metrics
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing, contract manufacturing, modular construction, electrical equipment manufacturing, or industrial fabrication environments
- Experience with NetSuite, Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP/MRP platforms
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Power Query, or other business intelligence and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or related methodologies
- Experience developing automated reporting solutions and executive KPI dashboards
- Understanding of S&OP, Capacity Planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Supply Planning processes
