About the role
Candidate should be local to Franklin Lakes. Schedule will be 4 days in office/ 1 remote. 10-25% domestic travel.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration between strategic IDN partners, BD Sales Teams, and BD Supply Chain in a shared effort to improve the Customer Experience, clinical, economic and operational outcomes through enhanced operational performance and strategic supply chain initiatives.
- Manage Strategic IDN Partner relationships for operations and lead BD in providing an outstanding Customer Experience through quality efficient Supply Chain services, promoting integration within BD and Strategic IDN Partners.
- Promote a highly collaborative seamless partnership with the BD Strategic Customer VP’s, BD businesses and BD functional departments that brings focus on BD supply chain efficiencies and costs, together with the business strategies and customer service requirements.
- Supports internal Supply Chain stakeholders by providing Voice of Customer to all relevant Supply Chain functions.
- Provide Customer requirements, feedback, observations and insights to help anticipate industry changes, and to inform BD as we seek to Innovate and Continuously Improve Supply Chain.
- Identify, initiate and drive process improvement solutions that will ultimately provide operating efficiencies and synergies within the supply chain, resulting in cost reduction and increasing service level to customers.
- Lead the supply chain communication with our IDN Partners through the appropriate forums, from weekly tactical calls to monthly operational meetings and quarterly continuous improvement reviews.
- Participate into Quarterly Business reviews.
- Monitor the day to day supply chain activities with IDN Partners assuring Operational Excellence and a high level of Service.
- Accountable for metrics systems that routinely capture BD's service to the customer.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years related work experience in Supply Chain/Logistics or Sales functions with an organization actively engaged with both Distributors and large direct accounts.
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Logistics, Distributor Management or Sales
- Strong Analytical capabilities
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Strong Customer Focus
- Advanced skills in negotiation and conflict management
- Medical Device industry a plus
