Supply Aide

Essential Functions

• Completes bedside supply stocking in the ED treatment rooms.
• Rotates supplies out to minimize expired products.
• Maintains an adequate supply of clean wheelchairs and strollers in the EDTC to meet the demand of arriving customers.
• Safely maintains the area during fire emergencies or drills.
• Maintains cleanliness in the waiting room, patient care areas, treatment rooms between patients, and the department in general.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Requires job knowledge acquired through a high school education or equivalent.
• Ability to follow simple, routine instructions.
• Effective verbal, written, and/or interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to respond to basic customer requests with patience and enthusiasm; understand the needs of customers and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry, or push and pull heavy items with force of up to 30 pounds, stand and walk for 99% of the work shift.
