What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities
- Perform all maintenance tasks as needed, according to skills/abilities and consistent with regulations and facility policy.
- Maintain operation and condition of equipment and systems.
- Assist in monitoring operation of general systems such as heating/cooling; report problems or malfunctions immediately.
- Assist housekeeping staff with heavy floor care (strip/wax/buff) and other heavy cleaning and trash collection and/or removal.
- Maintain outside walkways in safe condition for use, i.e. assure prompt snow/ice removal.
- Maintain lawn and landscaping.
- Maintain facility or equipment modifications, preventive maintenance or repairs in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, regulations, and laws.
- Follow material safety data sheets (MSDS).
- Follow waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy.
- Assist in inspections, fire and disaster drills, and training; report outcome according to established procedure.
- Use equipment, tools, supplies, and chemicals according to instructions, observing safety precautions and protective measures.

Schedule
Full-time 8am-5pm with every other weekend.
